PRAY FOR SOPHIE
‘If people have access to clean water their lives can change.’ Sophia.
Sophia wants to help the people in her village. So she teaches them about how important it is to have clean water and proper toilets.
More than 1.7 million children die of diarrhoea every year because they don’t have good water and toilet facilities.
Tearfund wants to make sure that, in the places where we work around the world, everyone can have clean water and somewhere safe to go to the toilet.
As you wash your hands today, thank God for Sophia and the difference she is making to people in Fombe.
And then pray for the Tearfund partners who are working hard to give many more people around the world access to the water they need.
